Oceans’ Day is here!
And Zero Waste Shanghai and Shanghai Mamas are happy to host a great event to celebrate it!
Zero Waste Shanghai will teach parents and kids about the importance of our oceans in our daily lives. Kids will learn how to make an easy long-lasting eco-friendly body sponge: the tawashi! (No knitting experience required; workshop suitable for people from 6 to 99 years old).
Kids, the future.
Did you know that about 70% of the oxygen we breathe is produced by the oceans?
How is the climate crisis affecting the lungs of the planet?
What can we do from our homes to preserve and care for the animals, and also our own health?
Zero Waste Shanghai believes that kids are the ones that will take care of our Planet. During this event they will learn in depth about plastic pollution, how to reduce plastic in our lives, how to take care of plastic we keep in our lives.
On top of that they will understand the oceans and their role in the ecosystem.
